​This course helps massage service providers better serve the public by understanding and implementing measures that reduce the risk of disease transmission. This course defines concepts of disease, the chain of infection, standard precautions and transmission-based precautions, and discusses cleaning and disinfecting procedures for surfaces, objects, and laundry.
